Below are some lists of support meetings in the Fox Valley and surrounding areas. If you think you have a problem with alcohol, please stop in at any AA meeting.
The "Open" meetings are open to anyone and everyone (Alcoholics, non-alcoholics, family, friends, etc.) and they're usually meetings that you simply listen to a member at a podium speak about alcoholism and recovery.
A "closed" meeting is reserved for individuals who think they have a problem with alcohol and have a desire to quit drinking. Closed meetings are usually a group of people that read about alcoholism recovery, and then several members share how they recovered while supporting others in recovery.
